Tomoharu Okabe<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Currently engaged in research sales and prime broker business, Tomoharu Okabe previously served as president of a hedge fund consulting company and representative of Malaysian sovereign fund PNB in Japan. Now, he is involved in a wide range of investment operations in PE, real estate, and stocks.
Okabe handles Japanese equity foreign institutional investor sales at Daiwa Securities and Deutsche Securities (6.5 years in the US, 7.5 years in Japan). He has 7 years of experience covering various hedge funds, including as manager of long\/short Japanese stocks (domestic and overseas) at prime brokers and consultants, and 3.5 years of buy-side experience as a representative of Malaysian sovereign funds in Japan. He is well-versed in the investment methods and construction methods of global investors outside Japan through sell-side, buy-side, and consulting services beyond the boundaries of regional characteristics and religious views. He understands a wide range of investment perspectives, including traditional investment styles such as value and growth, as well as the approaches taken by activists. Okabe seeks to revitalize the stock market and connect Japanese companies to the future by bridging companies and investors with an aim to enhance corporate value, strengthen shareholder value, and advance internationalization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Okabe graduated from Fort Lewis University (Colorado, USA) with a Bachelor of Business Administration.<\/p>\n<\/div>
